THE IMMIGRATION PLAN

The Deficit Reduction Party Campaign Platform, submitted at the beginning of our campaign, contained our plans for solving the Immigration problem. (See Para. 3 of that platform)

Let's face it, the original concern was to make it difficult for terrorists to enter the U.S. However, those who live on the Mexican border also have their priorities and they would like to see something done about the ease with which those neighbors cross our borders.

Now these people have been exposed to many frightening incidents, armed Mexican badies, drug importers who even try bribing our border guards. There are bad people in every nation, including our own. We cannot, we should not judge the majority of law abiding people by those who discredit their country. These renegades are almost as dangerous as the Terrorists.

But let's speak of those who enter the U.S. for employment, people who are hard working, honest immigrants trying to improve the lives of their families. Unions are bitterly opposed to their presence for understandable reasons, they take jobs away. They work for less money.

Thinking about this, Walmart, McDonald and many other mass employers pay minimum wages. Should they be condemned also?

Try this one on for size. What if every Mexican crossing the border were assessed an entry fee. This fee based on numbers alone could add up to a very healthy fund. These border- crossers would not, should not be entitled to any benefit from the U.S., not Healthcare, not unemployment compensation, they do not contribute to these funds.

However, the money collected from them could go to a fund to care for them if they are hurt or get ill while working here. There would of course be a surplus in that so many enter our country daily. This surplus could go for hiring many ,many more border guards to make certain drug carriers are not entering the U.S. and any monies left over from that fund could go to me, the President, (When elected) By being honest and letting my constituents know I intend fattening my checkbook, we will eliminate graft and dishonest government. All those in my cabinet will get rich BUT we will reduce the deficit and the world will know we are not "stealing", we are "taking" with the full knowledge of our voters.

There will be some who oppose this plan. If the number is too high, we will reverse our position.

Does this not prove we are tuned in to what our constituents wish?
